Each woman is connected to another as mothers, daughters, neighbors, and friends—complicated relationships full of love tinged with loss, new hope hazy with old hurt. For one night, the distance between these women dissipates, and with a little bit of desert magic, the lines between their past and present blur to create a nostalgic now.
